NOTE: This patch is not necessary if you are using BetaAPP or WebAPP 0.9.9.3.3 or newer. It is built in to those versions. For older versions:
In April 2006 it was found that reports have been published at the security sites about XSS holes in WebAPP. The risk was classified as low risk, but needed to be addressed nonetheless. A patch was released immediately for these vulnerabilities. That patch with fixes for those reported holes along with an XSS fix that was pending for the Statistics Log Viewer, as released in April, is included in this package. Since then a patch for a longstanding issue with topics comments has been put in place in the included topics.pl file. If you already installed the April security patch, the only file you will need from this package is the user-lib/topics.pl. Otherwise you should install this whole package. To use, install included files in the directory structure as laid out in the zip.
